Every bag was once an inflatable boat, left behind at the Marzili on the Aare. We collect them and sew them into bags.

Three steps turn a broken boat into a bag you can use for years.
Collected
Every summer, the City of Bern collects the boats left at the Marzili in a container. We pick them up from there.
Cut
We clean them and cut out the best parts: colours, prints, valves.
Sewn
Sewn by hand at KoKoTé and Terra Vecchia, social workshops in Switzerland.
